Mayo, Hill, and Haley Taylor each had a pair of singles on the night for Ingomar.
Townsend had a pair of singles for the Lady Wildcats.
Now for the Lady Falcons a Thursday night victory over Tremont equals a region championship and more importantly the number one seed heading into the playoffs. A loss would give the Smithville Lady Seminoles the top seed.
In other playoff news, Myrtle and West Union will play for the top seed in their region next Thursday night. West Union is currently the number two seed and will have to beat Myrtle by four or more runs to overtake the Lady Hawks as the top seed.
